Job Purpose
To carry out NDT inspections using: penetrant, magnetic, eddy current, ultrasonic, x-ray or thermography.
assist LEOD, SEOD, Wheel & Brakes, Industrial and Airframe services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work in accordance with the latest ADAT, TPM’s and NDT written practice.
  • Carry out NDT inspections on aircraft/engine structures and components.
  • To read, interpret, carry out and sign routine and non-routine tasks
  • To understand and interpret Service bulletins, AD’s, EO’s and NTM”s
  • Work on own initiative.
  • Carry out internal audits
  • Pass on skills to new starters / contract staff.  

Qualifications

  • PCN level 2’s in at least two off the following: magnetic / Penetrant / eddy current/ ultrasonic/ thermography/x-ray

Knowledge, skills and Experience

  • Should be familiar with aerospace environment/work shop and have a minimum of two years aviation related experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • English – Oral and written.
  • Good communication skills and team player.
