Air Arabia: QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER   

Purpose
The purpose of this role is to perform internal audits, surveillance and conducts accident and incident investigations as directed by Manager Quality Assurance and safety.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the quality system (internal and product audits, surveillance and spot checks) of Aircraft Maintenance Department according to UAE GCAA CARs.
• Perform maintenance department and outstations Safety and Quality audits.
• Formulates procedures, and processes according to the requirements of the department.
• Develops and ensures that existing department policies as outlined in the MME and MOE are applicable to the Organization.
• Ensures safety regulations are enforced and followed.
• Plans, develops and enhances existing policies and procedures to keep abreast with the changing needs of the Company.
• Assists in formulating and monitors comprehensive corrective actions for regulatory audits.
• Monitors actions and solutions for the department.
• Performs continuation training to Releasing personnel on important technical issues.
• Develops Quality Bulletins.
• Reviews Airworthiness Directives and mandatory Service Bulletins and maintains the AD status report.
• Updates and maintains authorisation files.
• Maintains dispensation files
• Reviews MDD/ADD/CDL and reliability reports.

Desired Profile
Essential – An aircraft engineering degree or HND from a recognised university or engineering college. 
 5 or more years working in the aviation industry. 
 Possesses appropriate knowledge of the legal requirements of the GCAA and/or EASA/FAA. Professional membership of associations related to the aircraft industry and/or Quality Assurance [e.g. ISO Lead Assessor] would be an advantage.
