Description:1. SCOPE OF THE JOB:
- The primary purpose and function of the Software Developer will be working on website, e-commerce and application softwares.
- Liaison with Business units and Application providers for software requirements
- Implement quick change control processes to cope up with fast changing business requirements
2. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:- To design and develop the corporate website and internet
- booking engine ensuring strong functionality
- To monitor web server and site technical performance.
- General software development for E-commerce, Marketing etc.
- Testing and debugg i ng
- Writing documentation
- Working to define project plans and define timescales
- Evaluating and implementing new technologies and methodologies
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role and the overall business objectives of the organization
3. PERSON SPECIFICATION (EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS,………ETC):- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science or equivalent.
- 2 years or above experience in the design, implementation, and support of website and software applications.
- Previous Airline experience and Computer Certifications are an added advantage
- The ability to remain focused and calm, and to deliver results even during periods of pressure
- Taking ownership of tasks, and completing all tasks to a high degree of excellence
- Good Team player with good communication (written and oral) skills and Highly developed ability to work independently and meet regular deadlines
- A fluent English speaker. Knowledge of Arabic language would be advantage.

4. TECHNICAL SKILLS- At least 2 year work experience with Javascript, HTML/DHTML/CSS, XML, SQL Server, ADO.NET and AJAX
- Firm understanding to strong working knowledge of .NET (Framework 3.0 and above)
- Firm understanding of OOP and event-driven programming
- Experience and firm understanding of user-centric website development
- Good understanding of n-tier application development
- Firm understanding of Web 2.0 and MV
- Experience with NUnit is a plus
