Job Description :- This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong.
- We are seeking a high-calibre individual who has operational experience in a supervisory level to be able to understand the demands of Dragonair operations and operational quality system.
- The main responsibility is to assist with the implementation and maintenance of an effective quality assurance system including a comprehensive quality oversight activity pertaining to the safety of the aircraft operation of Dragonair. The post holder will also assist to maintain the company FAOC/Operations Specifications which is critical for company operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Actively support the implementation of the KA quality systems within Operations Division (OPS) including in particular the Terms of Reference and the creation of process manuals for all operational support activity
- Assist with the maintenance of Dragonair company FAOC and Operations Specifications
- Undertake auditing activities as a Lead Auditor in the operational quality assurance programme and act as a mentor and guide to less experienced auditors under training
- Conduct audits of the KA OPS Internal Audit Programme of internal audits, port audits, supplier audits and inspections as required
- Co-ordinate and monitor effective document and record control systems including format, distribution and revision control for KA OPS Division
- Assist in preparing and supporting KA OPS for the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA)
- Monitor and track audit action items progress
- Support and coordinate with Manager Operation Standards & Quality (MOSQ) on feedback and review of quality system performance and effectiveness
- Work with relevant functional areas and related sections in KA OPS to assist with documentation of all relevant KA OPS operations, processes, procedures and policies
- Explore the opportunities to enhance the quality standards of KA operations
- Deputize MOSQ in his/her absence
Job Requirements :- University Degree or at least Matriculation level
- At least 7 years relevant operational experience in airline industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Quality Assurance and Auditing Qualifications/Experience
- Aviation Quality Database experience
- Computer literacy e.g., Microsoft Office
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent command of written and spoken English, preferably including Mandarin
- Sound planning and organization skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a solid background in data analysis
- Willing to travel frequently for business purposes
The successful candidate will be employed by Cathay Pacific and be seconded to Dragonair.
