Job Purpose
Surveillance, investigations, audits and capabilities relevant to aircraft component activities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Audits: Conducting scheduled or non-scheduled audits, both internally and externally, as per the approved internal Audit Plan
- Note: The Quality Assurance Engineer - Components will be in attendance and accompany the NAA Airworthiness Inspector / EASA Auditors / FAA Auditors during the audit process in the Workshops as and when required.
- Surveillance: Conducting surveillance in the Component Workshops and analysing the findings (if any) for improvement
- Investigations: Undertaking investigations and warranty claims as per laid down standards in MEDA or equivalent and Technical Procedure Manual
- Component Capability Development: Conducting Component Capability Evaluation as per approved documents and data to include in the Workshop Component Capability list
Qualifications
- A recognised Workshop Apprenticeship
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge, skills and Experience
- Adequate specific training, component type courses, familiarisation courses, regulation training, audit training and investigation training
- 10 years minimum working on aircraft components and a good knowledge in Workshop Work packs
