Description/Tasks
- To be a part of a multi-tasking team to support the Ground Support Equipment & Tooling of Jet Aviation Basel
- Provide a flexible and proactive approach to achieve exceptional levels of service and quality to both internal and external customers alike
- Identify opportunities for improvement within both the team environment and throughout the facility in general
- Perform the issue, control and return of tools within the Tool Store using the database
- Perform safety briefings and control of safety equipment as required
- Upload new tooling data onto the database
- Perform checks and replenishment, when required, of Oxygen & Nitrogen trolleys
- Perform basic, routine maintenance / repair on GSE & tooling as requested
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe working area at all times
- Any other duties commensurate with the position
- Ensure Jet Aviation policies and guidelines are adhered to regarding all aspects of Health, Safety, Security and Environment.
Qualification/Experience
- Minimum 5 year of experience within an above mentioned industry
- Experience of working in an aviation environment would be beneficial
- English knowledge (written and spoken) a must
- French and / or German beneficial
- Apprenticeship within an electrical / mechanical industry
- Professional / industry qualification in electrical / mechanical discipline
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Desire to achieve and excel customer expectations, internal & external
- Flexible and proactive approach to team work
- Logical and systematic approach to problem solving
