Job Description Reporting to the Senior Web Designer, the Web Designer will play a key part in the Website Team who are responsible for maintaining and updating the company's websites, ensuring all online marketing campaigns for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are successfully implemented and create and maintain all online assets in line with the company image and brand.
In this exciting position you will design and develop company web pages, graphics, flash banners, affiliate and promotional advertising for a wide variety of online marketing and product initiatives. You will be responsible for implementing online campaigns with the relevant Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) recommendations and any analytical measuring and tracking features. You will also assist with the migration of the web content to a new Content Management System (CMS) and continually improve and optimise existing templates and features in terms of design, usability an accessibility.
To be successful in this role a strong creative flair is required, coupled with a sound technical knowledge of the Adobe Suite including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, CSS, XHTML, JQuery and Javascript. Proven experience within a web design and development environment is essential. You will also have experience of working with Content Management Systems and an in-depth knowledge of current design trends and techniques.
