Job Description Reporting to the Technical Projects Manager, the Technical Services Engineer – Airframe Systems will be responsible for the continued airworthiness of Jet2.com aircraft through the implementation of fleet wide systems specific maintenance and modification. Working in the Engineering Projects Team, this position maintains systems integrity and reliability to ensure maximum safety at optimum cost. This will be achieved through investigation of aircraft systems defects and the formulation of corrective actions.
The Technical Services Engineer – Airframe Systems will provide technical design support to Jet2.com Maintenance Control and Hangar scheduled maintenance, which will include airframe systems. You will contribute to continued airworthiness and technical performance through the evaluation of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and engineering modification requests, ensuring actions are carried out to approved standards. Additionally this position reviews aircraft technical logs and Pilot Reports to ensure Technical Dispatch reliability targets are met.
The successful candidate will have experience of the Jet2.com aircraft types and should have a minimum of five years relevant EASA Part M experience as well as an EASA Part 66 License, Aeronautical degree or equivalent. You should have carried out significant systems maintenance and modification projects and have knowledge of the EASA Part 21 J modification process. In addition the Technical Services Engineer – Airframe Systems will have strong attention to detail as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
