Job Description :- This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong
- We are now looking for a high calibre professional to lead our Engineering Development Team. Reporting to our Head of Engineering Cost Management & Business Improvement, the appointee will be responsible to co-ordinate and drive key change management activities in Cathay Engineering around Engineering IT software development, utilization of data for business intelligence and decision making. He/She will also establish and maintain a holistic view on future developments and It Road map in Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure alignment between the deliverable all Engineering IT projects and Engineering Strategies & Policies
- Establish and agree with Engineering stakeholders, an overall Engineering IT road map and implementation plan, with relative value contributions and dependencies
- Critically review and propose changes to the structure of the Cathay Engineering with reference to the intended business process and it’s effectiveness in delivering the desired end state deliverable
- Asses and drive alternative or additional solutions and it’s development and integration with current Engineering IT solutions
- Influence and align decisions between all stakeholders and senior management on project scoping and deliverables
- Introduce new opportunities to BU around Processes, Data and M&E software functions
- Ensure Business As Usual (BAU) requirements are satisfied, post-implementation of Engineering IT projects
- Monitor program budgetary requirements
- Manage a team of engineering staff to deliver the section goals.
Job Requirements :- Degree holder in Engineering/Aerospace discipline or a Licensed Aircraft Engineer
- Minimum 8 years experiences in maintenance support area, with sound business and functional knowledge in Ultramain and other engineering systems
- Proven record in driving change to effect substantial business value improvements
- Sound experience in business process re-engineering and in delivering projects with ability to multitask and managing multiple projects in cross-BU environments
- Proven experience in Leadership, Relationship and Change Management
- High level of self motivation
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and collaboration skills with strong influencing capabilities
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
