To help achieve our objectives and to cope with our rapid fleet and business expansion, we are inviting high caliber individuals with a strong and solid aviation technical background to join our renowned Hong Kong based Engineering Team.
- Our Inventory Management Section is responsible for provisioning and repair management of aircraft spare parts, engines, tooling and ground equipment associated with aircraft maintenance, overhaul and operations. The primary responsibility of the warranty team is to manage the engineering warranty processes effectively and efficiently. We are looking for knowledgeable individuals familiar with industry practices of inventory management, international standards of warranty contracts and terms to join the team.
- Reporting to our Inventory Manager, the successful applicant is expected to work closely with various Engineering sections to maximize the warranty opportunities. Externally, the team member will liaise, or negotiate as appropriate, with suppliers, repairers, manufacturers and MROs to achieve the targeted warranty cost recoveries. Applicants should adequately understand how Engineering’s processes are organized and functions in order to comply with the regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement processes to ensure warranty opportunities are captured
- Develop and implement processes to track and analyse the warranty claim and recovery progress
- Oversight of issuance, acceptance and sign-off of warranty claims
- Assess and recommend warranty dispositions
- Compile budgets and warranty claim reports
- Analyze engineering reports to identify potential warranty claim. Based on the findings to deliver warranty targets
- Formulate the strategies to negotiate with warrantor/insurance
- Capable to influence across the internal and external business counterparts, manufacturers, repairers, MRO to achieve best warranty performance
- Manage and initiate improvements in data capturing, Ultramain system process and warranty claim process etc
- Lead the subordinate in the team and coach their development
- Deputize for Inventory Manager as required
Job Requirements :- University degree in Engineering, business studies or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years experience in inventory management related role or in aviation warranty discipline
- Sound prioritization and decision making skill. Willing to take additional responsibilities. Self motivated and organized. Forward thinking, proactive and change oriented
- Good business acumen, commercial awareness. Sensitive to business opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence
- Able to lead, coach and develop subordinates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to work with different cultures and adapt to varying working conditions
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for Inventory Operations Controller.
