Job Description Reporting to the Shift Leader, the B2 Licensed Engineer is responsible for carrying out line maintenance on the Jet2.com fleet of B737 and B757 aircraft. This position ensures that all avionics line maintenance work is carried out on time and to a high standard.
The B2 Licensed Engineer will undertake scheduled and un-scheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with the relevant statutory requirements and Jet2.com Company policy. You will certify all servicing and maintenance tasks, liaise and discuss technical issues and scheduled inputs with Maintrol as well as carrying out pre-flight, daily and weekly checks, scheduled maintenance, component checks and mandatory inspections. In addition you will ensure that all documentation under your control is complete and recorded correctly.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience on commercial aircraft and hold a valid European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) B2 License. You will hold a full driving license and ideally be current on one or more of the aircraft types operated by Jet2.com. It is essential you are calm under pressure and able to deliver high quality work and meet deadlines. After a period of training it is expected that the B2 Licensed Engineer will work on a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off shift pattern.
