DescriptionDuties and responsibilities - Following procedures and performing operational type tests using specific techniques.
- Setting up and calibration of equipments..
- Determining appropriate test methods for specific components in accordance with applicable documentation.
- Preparing parts for inspection.
- Understanding the scope and limitation of the various NDT methods used.
- Interpreting, reading and evaluating indications with reference to applicable standards.
- Maintaining a good work relationship with both peers and senior staff.
- Ensuring at all times good housekeeping is promoted throughout both the NDT department and the company in general.
- Carrying out such further duties as may be required by the Production Manager.
- To work in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
Qualification : Minimum level 2 A.S. N. T in relevant N.D.T method or equivalent.
Experience : 5 Years evaluating and testing of aerospace components.
Responsible to : N. D. T. Supervisor.
