Description/Tasks- Work within teams in such a manner to ensure proper delivery expectations and quality
- Support/assist supervisor with documentation, production sheets, reports and related paperwork as required
- Maintain discipline, health and safety and ensure cleaned work environment
- Responsible for workers assigned to his/her work area and assign individuals to specific job tasks, encourage workers within the team to reach on time delivery
- Demonstrate job/task duties to workers in teams to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations
- Keep their supervisors informed regarding work/worker performance and delays which could cause contract from being completed on time
- Train new employees and coach existing employees (on job training)
- Responsible for managing and leading the paint process operations
- Must be dedicated, and understands aircraft paint processes
- Able to do trouble shooting and deal with conflicts
- Beflexible with paint process scheduling.
- Flexible in continuous improvements
Qualification/Experience- Must have minimum of 5 years experience in painting
- Must have excellent technical knowledge in paint mixing, application techniques, coats and a variety finishes and paint shop equipment (e.g. electro static paint equipment/paint gloss meter/paint thickness gauge)
- Knowledge on paint related products/processes and manufacturers
- Must have excellent technical knowledge in aircraft documentation/manuals and processes / familiar with design livery layouts
- Goal oriented, with the ability to understand company/department requirements, establish priorities, lead the team, track progress and readjust as required to achieve success
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
- Computer basic skills in MS Office
- Apprenticeship/training in painting
- Paint qualification certificate/diploma
