The Maintenance Program Implementation and Projects Team within the Planning & Heavy Maintenance Operations Section (PHMO) is accountable for the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the Maintenance Program, to ensure that all relevant engineering systems, process and procedures are precisely set up in order to facilitate the delivery of safe, compliant and reliable aircraft to the airline at a minimum total cost and maximum aircraft stability and availability.

As a Planning Engineer, your main responsibility would include setting up effective and precise control of maintenance requirements, implementing maintenance philosophy on operations and monitoring performance of various Planning IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and monitor engineering and maintenance (E & M) systems to facilitate functionalities of Planning Operations
• Set up and monitor effective and precise control of maintenance requirements to assure full and continuous compliance
• Handle daily issues of Planning systems reported by end-users
• Deliver short-term and long-term solutions / improvements on Planning IT systems and process
• Deliver optimize maintenance packages and implementation plans to Planning operational teams (i.e. line maintenance and base maintenance inputs)
• Maintain effective and stable Planning IT systems
• Perform other task as may be required by the management.

Job Requirements :

• Degree in Engineering or Aerospace discipline (other compatible qualification or experience may be considered)
• Minimum 5 years experience in aviation engineering, preferably in  aircraft maintenance planning aspect
• Sound knowledge of aircraft maintenance planning, capable of interpreting requirements from aviation authority / OEM documents
• Good planning and organizing skills, able to support seniors in handling projects
• Self initiated, able to work / resolve issues independently and make sound decision under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate with all levels of parties throughout the organization, both internal and external
• Willingness to work with different cultures and adapt to varying working conditions
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
