Cathay Pacific: Personnel Manager Hong Kong Ground Staff   

This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong.

Personnel Department is now recruiting a Personnel Manager Hong Kong Ground Staff.  The Personnel Manager Hong Kong Ground staff will partner with designated line departments to develop and deliver tailored HR solution to enable the achievement of business objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

• Work in partnership with client line departments and team members in Personnel Department to identify requirements for development and implementation of HR initiatives aligned with the company objectives and strategies;
•  Act as the primary point of contact for designated client departments on people agenda and become an active member of client departments;
• Provide proactive advice to line managers recommending HR solutions across all HR disciplines;
• In close collaboration with other HR process owners, provide support to client departments on people management matters including but not limited to recruitment and selection, retention, performance management, talent and people planning, employee engagement and communications;
• Act as a source of information and advice to client department and all employees on HR policies, practices and procedures consistent with legislative and statutory requirements and company objectives.

Job Requirements :

• University degree holder
• Minimum 8 years HR experience, with sound people management experience
• A team player with high initiative, sound people skills and organisational skills
• Good analytical skills
• A self-starter and always ready to take up new challenges and initiate innovative changes
• Excellent written English and fluency in both English and Cantonese.
• Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
