Major Areas of Responsibility- Manage and lead a team of sales executives in the sales team. Set both personal and team targets to manage each market segment in the territory
- Given complexity of different markets identify and implement distribution strategy and commercial infrastructure in line with company’s low cost model and standards
- Manage relationships with various government / regulatory bodies during inception of the route and operational continuity at all times
- Provide market intelligence to the Commercial Manager, to aid new route planning, identifying opportunities and risks. Provide practical feedback, helping shape the channel and business strategies
- Manage payments and remittances to flydubai from distributors, to eliminate bad debts
- Ensure flydubai is positioned competitively on all fronts in the market
- Continuously seek to propose and enhance traditional / unorthodox distribution channels in the market
- Ensure that the product and promotional plans are understood and implemented to give the greatest impact in the market
- Drive sales to flydubai.com through enhanced customer awareness on Web sale benefits
- Continuously monitor market data intelligence to facilitate quick, dynamic decision making process on a day to day basis
Primary Objectives:

Job Requirements
- Excellent organizational, communicational, interpersonal and leadership skills
- An excellent track record in developing, implementing and controlling budgets
- Should be an analytical thinker with a high degree of initiative to keep pace with market trends and develop appropriate innovative strategies
- Good knowledge of the regions travel markets
- Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written English.

Education and Experience
- University Graduate or higher
- At least 7 years’ experience with an airline or travel agency, of which 5 years should have been in a prominent senior position
