Competencies :   
  • High level of understanding and knowledge of software and hardware applications
  • Certification on implementation of ISMS & ITSM ISO standards a must
  • Lead Auditor training & certification on ISMS & ITSM standards a must
  • Should possess excellent knowledge of Network Monitoring tools • Good working knowledge of Intrusion Detection & VA tools
  • Should possess excellent knowledge of managing risks involved in IT systems
  • Must have exposure in IT risk management and Information Security auditing
  • Should be up-to date on Technology standards and trends in the UAE and Middle East
  • Should have excellent knowledge of IT Service Management processes & tools
  • Should possess excellent knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements of ISO standards e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, ISO 140001, OHSAS 18001
  • Must have good knowledge on various IT aspects (Systems/Storage/Network/Security/Software Development/Business process management/ BCP/DR etc.)

Summary:   

  1. Ensure that compliance of IT operations are in line with set policies & procedures.
  2. Respond to issues of non-compliance of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct and communicate the same to the IT Director for further action and resolution.
  3. Monitor applicable regulatory changes and provide effective change management to address such changes
  4. Keep abreast of new products, technologies and applications as well as their implications and recommend improvements on Policies and procedures
  5. Ensure that assets, including licenses, used to deliver services are managed according to statutory and regulatory requirements and contractual obligations
  6. Report to IT Director on the issues relating to performance and opportunities for improvement to the SMS and associated services.
  7. Ensure all Service/ Change Requests are documented and fulfilled based on standards
  8. Ensuring that service management processes are integrated with other components of the SMS and ensure that service management processes are designed, implemented and improved in accordance with the policy and objectives for service management
  9. Maintain ITSM & ISMS framework implemented in GCAA and ensure its compliance with related activities by guiding the IT team to fix the compliance requirements emerging due to the certification of ISO 27001 & ISO 20000 standards and undertake any process improvements required as part of the compliance needed for ITSM & ISMS standards
