Description- Wiggins Airways, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and non-scheduled mechanical maintenance on all Company and customer owned aircraft required by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, Wiggins Airways business plan, policies and procedures, and customer regulations.
- Schedule is generally four – ten hour days per week and includes differential for second and third shifts.
- We seek a professional, certified, safe and customer centric mechanic to participate at the highest level as a Maintenance Technician team member, supporting co-workers in their duties and providing extra-ordinary service to any Wiggins Airways' customer.
- The principal duties of this position are performed in airport hangar environment or Company aircraft with exposure to ramp environments.
- We desire goal oriented, productive performers to join our team. The work is performed under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance.
Requirements- The position requires comprehensive knowledge and experience as an A&P Mechanic with graduation from high school or an equivalent program; Associates Degree preferred; and A&P Maintenance certification; and any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Candidate must possess valid driver's license in accordance with Company and airport policy; complete successful security and background check in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, Company and airport policy; and completion and maintenance of drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy is required. Starting wage is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and training.
