PurposeBased in Casablanca, Morocco, and reporting to the Materials Controller, the jobholder is responsible to maintain an adequate system of receiving, shipping, storage and issuance of aircraft parts, tools and equipment, keep updated the inventory in the RAL system and prepare reports on the discrepancies and the stock levels
Main Responsibilities- Maintains an adequate system of receiving, storage and issuance of aircraft parts, tools and equipment in accordance with Air Arabia Maroc procedures.
- Ensures proper documentation of all transactions relevant to stores and updates RAL system as required.
- Maintains system to control Material shelf lives and tools calibration in accordance with Air Arabia Maroc procedures.
- Monitors temperature and humidity control in technical stores to ensure proper storage conditions in line with the quality requirements.
- Maintains generally clean stores and ensures appropriate storage conditions of aircrafts supplies in accordance with the manufacturers’ recommendations and Air Arabia Maroc procedures.
- Responsible for providing weekly shortages reports of consignment stock and the rotable components stock owned by Air Arabia Maroc to Materials Controller.
- Responsible for maintaining update records about the return components and archiving all documents and images of return components.
- Responsible for avoiding recharge from service providers by timely return of both serviceable and unserviceable components within the agreed timeframe.
- Responsible for advising the Materials Controller if any components are received in damaged condition.
- Responsible for maintaining an updating record of scrap units and provides necessary feedback to Materials Controller.
- Responsible for export of all components by preparing the necessary shipping documents.
- Responsible to intimate details of units received unserviceable store out of component contract to Materials Controller for exploring possibilities of warranty claim.
- Responsible for credit back of all unused parts handed over on a daily basis.
- Responsible for allocating batches in the RAL system in consultation with Materials Controller.
- Responsible for maintaining a record of calibrated records, checking on regular basis for calibration requirements.
- Maintain a record for all tools held in stock.
- Responsible to remove and discard shelf life expired consumables from stock.
- Responsible for booking in and out of all tools on normal working hours.
- Updates the stores controller on critical stock items.
- Carries out the inwards inspection of aircraft parts arriving into the company so as to ensure all satisfy company and airworthiness authority standards and regulations.
- Responsible for the preparation and shipping of all aircraft components including Dangerous Goods in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Allocate and maintain binning locations in the stores and ensuring the inventory control system updates and maintained to this effect.
- Control all issues and receipts of materials with the stores controller and ensure the stock situation at all times is accurate.
- Ensures all parts being sent to repair agents are blanked and packed properly, and ensure the correct documentation is attached to parts prior to dispatch for repair.
- Assists with logistics arrangements for parts delivery to and from Air Arabia Maroc maintenance, outstations and aircraft.
- Controls the issues of tooling and equipment to engineers.
- Control the stores quarantine areas and liaise with the Materials Controller with regards to clearing the discrepancy with minimum delay.
- Carry out regular environmental checks in storage areas to ensure correct storage conditions are maintained.
- Ensures specific storage requirements are satisfied and keeps necessary records.
- Identifies and controls any required packing materials and maintain ATA 300 standards for aircraft parts going on repair.
- Assists with the loading and unloading of aircraft spares from and to Air Arabia Maroc Maintenance.
- Ensures health and safety regulations are maintained and adhered to in all areas of technical stores.
Desired Profile- Must be a Moroccan national educated up to high school level with a minimum of 5 years of relative experience. With at least 02 years in Aeronautical activities
- Possesses appropriate knowledge of the DGAC airworthiness regulations pertaining to the acceptance, storage and issue of aircraft technical spares and associated equipment used for aircraft maintenance.
- Knowledge and completion of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations training.
- Good command of both verbal and written skills in English, French and Arabic.
- Must have a valid Moroccan driving license and willing to work on shift based rosters.
