Flydubai: Manager Maintenance Control   

• Ensure the flydubai fleet meets the operational requirements of the flydubai programme by managing the activities on Line and in Maintenance Control and working internal and external customers.     
  
  Major Areas of Responsibility
• Ensure the continued operation of the flydubai fleet from an engineering and maintenance perspective. 
• Manage line and maintenance control activities.
• Chair the daily/weekly maintrol maintenance meetings and issue minutes.
• Closely monitor all technical delays and ensure that they are correctly allocated and recorded.
• Take preventative action as required to prevent recurrences of technical delays.    
• Attend the daily on time performance meeting.
• Ensure that workloads are achievable and that maintenance planning is in place. 
• Manage the ADD/CDD/MEL levels and ensure that department KPI are achieved. 
• Ensure planning for clearance of defects is in place. 
• Ensure NCC is aware of any MEL related items and the impact on the flying programme.  
• Visit their line maintenance team once every shift of four days/nights.       
• Manage the recovery of AOG aircraft from a technical perspective. .
• Managing leave applications in their team.  
• Carry out annual performance reviews for their Team Leaders Line Maintenance (TLLM).   
• Assisting with replacement requirements for other MMC as required. . 
• Assist the Head of Maintenance as required.
• Deputize for the Head of Maintenance as required. 
• Maintain a MMC handover log on AMOS.    
• To retain currency on all Licenses and Authorizations issued by Regulatory Authorities and flydubai Quality Assurance. 
• A comprehensive knowledge of flydubai processes and procedures.

  Specific Responsibilities of the Job
• To ensure that all maintenance is carried out in accordance with flydubai and regulatory requirements. This will be achieved by making full use of the resources made available by flydubai and in keeping up to date with latest issues of all forms of support documentation. 
• To ensure that all maintenance is carried out to the highest standards and within the operational limitations prescribed. This means that all maintenance is to be carried out in accordance with the manuals and documentation provided by flydubai.  
• Ensuring that the number of staff permitted leave at any one time does not have a negative effect on the ability to support the operation.   
• Assisting with MMC replacements requirements as required.         
• Assist the Head of Maintenance as required. 
•  Ensure that the Team Leader Line Maintenance (TLLM) under their management are kept abreast of company updates and factors affecting the business.          
• Deputize for the Head of Maintenance as required. This will require a comprehensive knowledge of the role of the Head of Maintenance.   
• To communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbally) with all areas of the business to ensure that there is a clear understanding by all involved of the job in hand.   
• To retain currency on all Licenses and Authorizations issued by Regulatory Authorities and flydubai Quality Assurance. This entails having an awareness of the expiry dates of all Licenses and Authorizations and making sure that renewals are applied for in a timely manner so as to ensure that currency is maintained.  
  
  Job Requirements
• Broad knowledge and experience in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Suite and MRO Systems.   
• Above average skills in effective communication.
• Excellent understanding of written and spoken English.
• Excellent Team Worker.
• Demonstrated levels of shown initiative, recognizing shortfalls and addressing them without being asked.  
• Demonstrated ability to think logically
• Demonstrated ability in Operational and Situational Awareness
• Demonstrated ability an analytical approach to Trouble Shooting 
• Safety and Airworthiness Awareness 
  
  Education and Experience
• Part 66 B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (or FAA/ICAO equivalent) with ratings on the Boeing 737NG and CFM56-7B engine.     
• Demonstrated experience in the maintenance of Boeing 737NG in a Line and Base Maintenance environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams of people in an aircraft maintenance environment.     
  
  Work Environment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
