The Position:The objective of the Supplier Performance Management Lead is to coordinate among solution centers to ensure there is a coherent and consistent sourcing approach in application development and application maintenance. He/she will also help to manage the performance of the strategic suppliers’ performance and KPIs.
Key responsibilities:- Drive and build relationship with Strategic vendors including AD (Application Development) and ASM (Application Support and Maintenance) vendors. This includes working with Solution Center Managers to define sourcing strategy; provide timely feedback to strategic vendors and work jointly to improve efficiency and productivity; working with head of APD, IT on managing vendor performance and KPIs.
- Drive the review and revision of sourcing strategy on a regular basis to ensure the sourcing strategy support the changes in business priorities and IT strategies.
- Coordinate among solution centers to ensure there is a coherent and consistent sourcing approach in application development and maintenace across all solution centers. (Each of the solution center will be managing the day to day vendor performance for project delivery and application suport. )
Job Requirements :- Minimum 13 years of experience in IT roles with at least recent 7 years in IT vendor management role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science fundamentals
- Experience and domain expertise in service level measurement, vendor quality management etc.
- Charisma and ability to drive continuous improvement of vendor service to Cathay IT.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationship with Cathay strategic vendors.
- Ability to work with vendors on continuous improvement of vendor performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to coordinate among various stakeholders to drive the outcome.
- Ability to work with diverse teams with various culture and technology background.
