Job Description :The Information Enterprise Architect Lead is responsible for providing leadership and vision for the Enterprise Information Architecture and strategy, defining frameworks, principles and standards, and developing the roadmaps to achieve the vision.
Key responsibilities:- Drive the definition of information architecture and roadmap
- Architecture vision, principles, standards and policies
- Target state blueprints and roadmap for information architecture:
- Business Intelligence
- Enterprise Content Management
- Document Management
- Enterprise Search
- Master Data Management
- Metadata Management
- Corporate Data Model
- Information / Data Governance
- Define and lead the implementation of a information governance strategy to support realization of the enterprise information architecture
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects to align the information strategy with the enterprise architecture (all domains)
- Socialize and secure support for information architecture from key stakeholders
- Lead analysis of the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Coordinate and ensure consistency in process and content across information architecture.
- Participate in relevant solution design review activities in order to ensure alignment to information architecture, information strategies and architecture principles
- Participate in architecture governance forums
- Support Solution Architects in identifying and assessing options
- Review proposed solution designs
- Conduct project technical reviews and health checks
- Manage development and career path and provide coaching for other architects
- Participate in analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the information architecture
- Participate and contribute to relevant industry, alliance and technology forums
Job Requirements :
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience with at least 7 years in an architecture related position. In-depth skills in across the following disciplines:
- Business Intelligence
- Master Data Management
- Enterprise Content Management
- Data Governance
- Data Quality
- Metadata Management
- Information Lifecycle Management
- Data Modelling
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
- Good business acumen, with an ability to understand and address business issues
- Excellent breadth of thinking, able to provide pragmatic solutions that consider all relevant constraints whether technical, financial, organisational, risk, or capability based
- Airline knowledge is advantageous
- TOGAF certification is preferred
