Description
  • Wiggins Airways, Inc. seeks an experienced Captain for our well-equipped C208 (Express Department cargo) position based in KPBG. Schedule is generally Monday night (1830) to Saturday morning (0900). 
  • Flight legs include KALB and KSYR. The position is stand-up overnight duty; legal rest during the day; flight time around 15 hours per week. We seek a professional, safe and customer centric aviator with single pilot, FAR 135 winter operations experience. 
  • The principal duties of this position are performed in Company aircraft with exposure to various airport hangar and ramp environments. 
  • The principal function of the Captain is to pilot Company aircraft in a professional, safe and timely manner to help the department achieve annual business goals. The work is performed under the direction of the Chief Pilot. 
  • Starting salary is $35,000 to $40,000 with non-taxable per diem, comprehensive benefits package, and employee stock ownership. We are not a member of CASS. Relocation package is negotiable. Pilots must domicile within one hour of assigned base.

Requirements
  • The position requires comprehensive knowledge and experience as Pilot In Command (PIC) with 1000 hours of PIC time; 2000 hours of total flight time; US Pilot certification with commercial license with instrument rating and; equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work. 
  • Two year degree in Aviation or equivalent education is desirable. Candidate must possess valid driver's license in accordance with Company and airport policy; successfully complete security, background check, and drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, Company and airport policy.
